A downhill with 4 miles of action packed twist and turns. The trail is marked with hard and easy lines. Structure options are available for more advanced riders. The trail is accessed from Roslyn/Cle Elum using a logging road climb (or longer options with mostly singletrack) leading to great views from slickrock on the top of Roslyn Ridge into the Teanaway valley. To get to Rat Pac, take Exit 84 off of I-90 and into Cle Elum, parking at Flagpole Park. Then head up the Coal Miners Trail to find the ascending road.
Is great for all types of hikers and visitor that would like to get a glimpse of the old mining activity that was once abundant in this area. The 453 elevation and about 5.5 miles will give you views of many different coal mining remains.
