This house was stunning, so much attention to detail to make it a luxurious destination and experience. We rented this house with family and friends to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. All 30 of us had an incredible time celebrating and creating lifetime memories. The house was stocked with all the essentials and then some. The amenities were all high end with all the bells and whistles. There was no shortage of activities between the sport court, pool, hot tub, movie theatre and speakeasy/game room. The hosts/property management company were great to work with, accommodating our requests to do a number of extras. They connected us to an approved vendor list, which made planning a breeze. We hired Orchard Catering to cater two incredible dinners, amazing food, setup and service; Cle Elum Roslyn Massage to provide in home massage services, Ashley was wonderful; and JRM Entertainment provided us with DJ and bartending services - Jodi & Amanda were a blast! 10/10 on the house and all the vendors! Have a special celebration, or milestone birthday coming up? Book this house, you will be blown away by how impressive it is and so will all your guest!

20 person family reunion, participants from 3 to 75 (96-year-old mom visited for the day). House was amazing (pool used everyday, had a family tournament with all the sports gear, movie room was a favorite)! But the best part was the responsiveness of the staff, Marisa in particular was a hardworking, attentive, warm-hearted jewel. Any other issues we had were dealt with promptly and with a smile.

We stayed at the Grand Retreat for 7 days during the first half of June for a family reunion. We knew it would be an amazing house from the description on the Vacation Rental 365 website, but seeing it in person takes your breath away. "Over the top" comes to mind for the many ultra-premium features and amenities the house has to offer. The property is well maintained and very clean. The house comes with a "butler" but to me that is the wrong term to describe Marisa, who was super helpful in numerous ways and all the while displaying superb people skills. Perhaps "estate hostess" would be a better term. She is an excellent resource for local intel; she showed us how to operate many features to the house, some of which are not intuitive, such as lighting the fire pits; she ran errands such a going to the grocery store; she sourced cedar planks for us to grill salmon; she helped with food prep; she cleaned; she picked up around the house; she helped with recycling cardboard boxes, aluminum beer cans etc. I had initial reservations about having a "butler" but Marisa was wonderful. Jobelle and Derek and the the many support staff at VR 365 were wonderful as well. In the months leading up to our stay, my many questions via emails were promptly answered. I definitely would recommend this property to a friend or relative and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Manager's Response

Thank you for such an incredibly thoughtful review. It means so much to our entire team. We're delighted Grand Retreat exceeded your expectations and helped make your family reunion so memorable. Marisa will be especially touched by your kind words. She truly enjoys creating exceptional experiences for our guests, and we'll be sure to share your feedback with her. This place was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, you could feel that it was designed with a level of care and intention that goes far beyond the norm. Every single detail—big and small—was clearly thought through, and it made the entire experience feel effortless, elevated, and genuinely special.

What really stood out was how well everything flowed. The spaces were designed in a way that brought our team together naturally, while still allowing for privacy and quiet when needed. It struck that perfect balance between being impressive and still feeling comfortable and livable, which is not easy to do at this level.

The amenities were exceptional and truly added to the experience. Nothing felt excessive or out of place—everything had a purpose and was executed beautifully. Whether we were spending time together or just enjoying the space, it consistently felt like we were experiencing something thoughtfully curated rather than just staying somewhere nice.

Another huge highlight was how responsive and accommodating the team was. They were always quick to answer questions and made everything feel smooth and stress-free from start to finish. That level of attentiveness made a big difference and didn’t go unnoticed.

Overall, this place exceeded all of our expectations in every way. It’s rare to find a property that combines this level of luxury, intention, and service so seamlessly. We left genuinely impressed and already talking about coming back.

Manager's Response

Thank you so much for your incredibly thoughtful words. It was an absolute pleasure hosting your team. Thank you for noticing the small details, we believe those are what truly make a house a home. From the moment we drove into the driveway we were delighted with everything we saw! Once we stepped foot into the front door we felt both a sweet warmth and our jaws drop at the grandeur of the expansive living room, kitchen and beyond. A tour? Oh yes! The downstairs was the fulfillment of some grand dreams- come true- so I won’t spoil the fun of You seeing it for the first time. Lots of fun with games and balls and shows. The rooms were generously built! The pool was the most impressive I’ve ever been in. God arranged for a beautiful blanket of snow to wake up to which made me wish it could have been a massive barricade to keep us all from leaving. I’m very thankful though for the time we’ve shared together here.

The home was clean and obviously well maintained. The pool bathroom was fully stocked with fresh pool towels. The swimsuit dryer was a nice touch.
