The Saturday of Memorial Day weekend is packed full of fun!
Originating in 1991 as a modest community parade, the Easton Memorial Day Celebration has grown into a full day of activities. The fun begins at 9:00 AM with the Cabin Creek Cruisers Car Show, showcasing a variety of vehicles. At 10:00 AM, the Kid Zone opens, featuring bounce houses and activities for all ages, while the street fair with over 60 vendors offers ample shopping, food, and drink options.
Throughout the day, tickets for both large and small raffle prizes will be available, with drawings happening continuously. The Wall of Heroes, displaying pictures and stories of fallen service members, serves as a poignant reminder of the day's significance.
The Grand Parade kicks off at noon, preceded by the National Anthem and the posting of the colors. Post-parade entertainment begins around 1:00 PM on the main stage.
Schedule:
- Parade starts at noon (line-up begins at 11:00 AM)
- Music with Micah J: 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Dancing with West Coast Country Heat: approximately 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM.
