We had a great stay. The house had everything we needed plus the bonus of the sand/volleyball court in the back, easy walk (.15 miles) to the beach, hot tub, and fun games in the garage and toy/play area upstairs. We were blessed with great weather during our stay, but I know we would have still had fun had we been stuck inside. If we had questions, we received quick responses. The location was great too-It's a short drive to town (about 10 minutes), where there are several great restaurant and food cart options. Grocery stores are even closer about 5-minutes north. I highly recommend this place for a big family with kids or a group of friends with kids.

The house was absolutely beautiful . It was great having 4 full bathrooms with 12 people. The game room was a lot of fun. We had several Foose ball and ping pong tournaments. There were 2 refrigerators and plenty of room in the pantry. The kitchen was fully stocked. It was a great location with a great view from the upstairs.

Beautiful clean house with tons of room. Short walk over the dunes to beach or drive on a block or two in each direction. Best part was we could bring our dog and ten of our closest friends as well.

This property worked out great for our Christmas season gathering of our spread-out family. Members came from St. Paul, Minn., Montreal, Quebec, Vancouver, BC, Kelowna, BC, Salt Lake City, UT, Bothell, WA, and Vancouver, WA. Accommodations and location were excellent. Our younger members enjoyed swimming in the ocean, followed by warmup in the heated spa. Also, many members enjoyed walks on the beach,All and all we totally enjoyed this property and the friendly cooperation of the property managers.

We had a fantastic vacation week in this house. Excellent location, quiet, dark skies at night, fun sand volleyball court and game garage. Overall, everything was very enjoyable. Managers were very accessible via text. We appreciated the spaciousness of the place, toy area for the kids, the large porch, and the two large tables that could handle all of us for meals and also for our games/puzzles/crafts. There was even an extra refrigerator for all our fizzy drinks and a sweet old piano (although she could use a tuning). One less star for the housekeepers since the previous vacationers left a dirty diaper behind, but that wasn't too big of a deal. Thank you for letting us enjoy your special place!

We enjoyed our visit however, there was a misunderstanding regarding times of check out. There is way more room for people than they allow which seems like a waste of space. Two sets of friends stayed somewhere else because we would have been over the limit with their kids. So much room was available-it's a shame. But the house and location were great for the price and splitting it between two families.

This was a very nice home, although for the money, it is a bit aged and needs some nicer decor. Plenty of eating spaces. The kitchen was very wonderful for cooking and eating. We had three groups and the upstairs had a tv/game place for kids to be. Also one family was upstairs which gave us all privacy. There are four bathrooms which was a luxury. I don’t think we will rent again because the price per night and the extra costs were shocking when I saw the total. I could have traveled to Europe for a week on what this cost for three nights. The management team was incredibly helpful, friendly, and responded to my questions very quickly. It was an easy walk to the beach, and the sand area near the house was a great play area for the kids, even though it is shared with the neighbor home. Stickers were a problem, but we were warned by management team, so we were careful to keep shoes outside. Bathrooms were all new and very, very nice. Kids went in to Long Beach to the arcade and for ice cream. They had a great time. Also, there is a great grocery store in Ocean Park so we didn’t have to suffer the congestion of Long Beach.

Great house for our party of 11. Play room and 2nd floor bedrooms worked well for the two couples with two-year olds. Our wagon didn’t work to get supplies to the beach with the soft sand, but we could drive around in 5 minutes. Everything we could have wanted plus beautiful weather!

The home was very beautiful, cozy and relaxing! I needed to let owner know that the garbage were almost full. They apologized zed and asked if we had enough room for our garbage and that we wouldn't be charged for the extra garbage! They were very prompt to get back to me and very kind!

We enjoyed our short stay here (2 nights in July). We are two families with 3 children under 3 and the kids especially liked the upstairs playroom with toys. I do wish there was an outside dining table and possibly clearing some of the prickly growth directly outside the house in the back (our children become scared to walk around themselves outside after getting prickles in their shoes and it hurting them)!

Really awesome location and cannot recommend enough based on that aspect of the place. The property management team were incredibly helpful and friendly, as well as easy to communicate with. Very well stocked kitchen for those who like to cook while vacationing.

One thing that I would offer as feedback, the fees get a bit obnoxious such as:
The garbage fee ($80 if you have more garbage then fits in the can)
The late check out fee ($50 every hour after 10am)
$50 Pet fee per dog per day

I’m sure there is a good reason for the fees, just felt a little nickel and dimey. Really wanted to make sure we got the $500 deposit back so we spent a good few hours the last night and morning of trying to clean the place as best we could as opposed to relaxing because we weren’t sure what the cleaning fee covered.

Again had a great stay, but hard to fully relax when it came to the end of the trip.

We stayed at the Beachwood estate over the Christmas Holiday with our 3 adult children and 3 friends of theirs and had an absolutely wonderful time. Great house, great location, plenty of room and just as advertised. In addition, it's pet and kid friendly, what more could you want!

Great family birthday gathering with 9 family members ranging from 7 to 72. Nice bedrooms for all, many (most?) have in-suite bathrooms. Clean and well stocked house and kitchen. Provides books, games, etc for all age levels. View from water side ocean, walk down to beautiful white beaches fun for all. Bring a kite to fly! In an area with only a few houses near us - never saw or heard our neighbors. Hot tub outside, indoor games in garage. We all though it was the perfect place to be!

We had a great time at this beautiful home. We loved the ping pong table and basketball game in the garage. The home was clean and fresh smelling when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities, and there was lots of room to spread out. We had wonderful weather and spent most of our time at the beach. We looked for crabs and surf fished as well on the uncrowded beach. There were plenty of towels for bathing and beach/hot tub use. The lower bath tub was clogged, but still usable. We loved our vacation stay and would come again in a heart beat.

We stayed for a family celebration. 8 adults and one dog. We love the house, we've stayed here multiple times. There were a few maintenance items that need attention, but nothing that impeded our fun. They have everything you would need to host a family dinner, fun activities in the garage, lawn chairs, kites, and a bed for everyone! We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Love this place, we will be back again someday!

Spring Family Retreat

We had a wonderful time watching grandkids wave jump and then soak in the warm tide pools in front of property. We flew kites, built sand castles and discovered a beached whale. We viewed two amazing sunsets. We enjoyed a short drive into town and had ice-cream at Snoopy's and walked the boardwalk in Longview. Warmed up in the hot tub. We had 12 kids and adults and two dogs. There was plenty of room to spread out and the table sat 12- it was perfect. One grandson told me. " I would come back again but we need to come for a week not just a week-end". WE enjoyed our time and it really was a treat.

We loved the place. Family had all quarantined so we could safely be together. Lovely home and great beach access. Very disappointing to find out at the last minute the hot tub was broken as it had been a major criteria. Also it was was odd that the furnace guy had to come to do a check. Especially since he had to access through the master bedroom where our grandson was napping. On a Saturday. All in all the place was well equipped, kitchen great . Lots of space to hang out. Very nicely decorated and furniture was in good shape. Thanks for the good time

Wonderful location on beach. Exceptionally well furnished house for families. Lots of kitchen space and all the cookware for large family dinners. Play room for kids with great toys and games was perfect for our three small families. Hot tub was a hit.

Our family celebrated Thanksgiving at the beach. We stayed confined to the house and the beach. The house offers plenty of the comforts of home while having the beach a very close walk away.

We would certainly come back again especially when we could go out and enjoy more of the Long Beach area.

this is in a great location! We loved being able to easily walk to the beach on the cool trail right out back. The house is spacious and the kitchen is also nice and spacious. There are two great tables for meals and to play games. And the hot tub was nice! Overall we had a great time and the management responded quickly to any questions we had. Some things that could be improved: sand out by the beach volleyball has lots sharp peices of tiles under the sand and 2 people in our party had cuts on their feet from them. Bathrooms don't have soap or bath matts. Kitchen had only one dish towel for 5 days. BBQ NEEDS to be replaced. It's falling apart.

A wonderful property!

This house was perfect for our annual extended 3-family weekend. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms made it a very pleasant stay and we made some wonderful memories.
The house is outfitted great with all the necessities and more, but there were a few things of note:
-- The BBQ grill was really, really in need of cleaning, both inside and out. We opted not to use it because it was so unappealing.
-- Apparently the people who rented before us had a long-haired white dog (which likely went home nearly bald, judging by the amount of hair in the house!!). The carpet on the main floor had some clumps of doghair upon our arrival, and we had to sweep the kitchen regularly during our stay because doghair kept wafting around as people walked from the carpeted area. The living room pillows & knit blanket were also covered in doghair.
--What was most distressing for us was that, upon arrival, we had to wash all the bedding on one of the beds because apparently the white dog had been in/on the bed and it was COVERED in doghair--pillows, sheets & comforter!! Perhaps no people actually stayed in the room, so the bedding wasn't stripped/washed before we arrived, but I would hope rooms are at least inspected by housekeeping before signing off that the house was ready for the next occupants! I was dismayed and very disappointed that this was overlooked. From the rules about the home, I would have thought it would be noticed and that the prior guests would be charged for the extra cleaning necessary to remove the doghair prior to our arrival.

None of these things would prevent us from considering this property in the future, but if we were to arrive and find a similar situation, I would definitely contact the rental folks and request they come out to inspect immediately. (For nearly $900/night, I don't think I should have to wash bedding and clean floors upon arrival.)

I rented this home in March 2020 for one week so my 3 children and their children and I could spend good family time together. The home was perfect as far as the layout, accommodations, necessities & things to do when we weren't on the beach. I don't think the kitchen was missing anything needed for prepping meals. The distance to town was perfect - close if you needed something. Walking distance to the beach was ideal for every age group we had visiting. All family members had a wonderful time and would be very happy if I were to rent this home again in the future! We did have a piano player in the family and were disappointed that the piano was soooo out of tune (even though we didn't know there was one there until we arrived)! The property management people were awesome during booking and our stay. (we called them few times with questions/concerns). Thank you Diane & Amanda! You were very much appreciated!

This house was perfect for the entire family! And I mean all of us, from the kids to the grandparents and even the dogs, we were all accommodated. Even thought the weather wasn't perfect we had plenty of space to spread out, watch movies, cook and play games. This house has more amenities than listed! It was warm, cozy and clean! Communication from the management company was great before, during and after. The house notes and binder provided great information to enjoy our stay, as well as prepare for departure. We will definitely be back!

This is a great location and the two houses we rented were side by side which housed our group of 20. There was a very well supplied kitchen with plenty of dishes to have our entire group eat together for many of our meals. We were there for 5 days and kept busy on beach, hiking, horseback riding, go karts in town, playing games, hot tubbing. GREAT vacation!

Great for a family reunion! There were 18 of us so lots of options for sleeping accommodations. Both kitchens were well equipped and clean. Beach Haven’s ocean side hot tub was the place to congregate. Beachwood Estate’s hot tub on the side was ignored. The Volleyball sand court was also popular with our family, ages 9-75. It’s important to enforce the no shoes in the house rule to avoid bringing in those nasty prickly plant seeds. Our golfer whacked a good number of those plants off the path to the beach.
Our memories will include Volleyball, s’mores around the fire ��, thrifting, shopping, driving on the world’s longest beach, go-carting, cranberry museum, taking wrong trails at a state park, creative meals, swimming in the Pacific Ocean - prompted by dares and bribes, glow sticks and late night walks to the beach to dance in the dark (looks so cool with just glow sticks showing��).

My family and I had such a blast staying at Beachwood Estate! The property was so beautiful and clean, exactly like it looked in the pictures we saw online. We also had a great experience working with Vacation Rental 365. My mom can be a tad overbearing, but Vacation Rental 365 was always courteous and quick to respond to the many, many, emails she sent asking about our upcoming stay. We all loved the house. The games in the garage were a hit as we had three little boys and some big ones. My only tips would be to supply more hangers for clothes. The master downstairs has no dresser. I ended up scrounging from the other closets,but it would be an easy fix. Also the stickers in the yard were annoying. Those can be sprayed for. Or tell guests to bring flip flops for inside only, there were prickles in the carpet. Also update property info for current wifi. Also the guests prior to us left the frypans burnt. And thanks for the bear warnings. Our garbage was missed but they got the neighbors.

This will be our fourth year using this property as our adult get-a-way. We had three families join us and we loved the say, as always. The updated furniture and the kitchen renovation were a pleasant touch. Additionally, the basketball challenge in the garage was the highlight of the weekend. When people weren't actively playing in our annual Ping Pong Tournament of KINGS they were sitting on the couch socializing or playing some basketball. It was another great area to have the group collect and spend time together.
We love the Beachwood Estate and plan to continue coming year after year!

There were 10 of us for 4 days at this lovely home. This was our third stay at this home. We really like the layout (for our crafting, knitting, socializing). It is always clean and we love all the windows and light. We wish there was a second or bigger refrigerator..... not enough space for 10 people who cook for several days. Also wish we could watch movies on the TV downstairs. The hot tub water didn't look too inviting and there was a lot of sand in we didn't use it. We also had two bathrooms that had no power to outlets about 1/2 way through our stay.

This was a wonderful home right on the beach, with the perfect amount of beds for the whole family :-) The hot tub could use a wash bay near it or a nice deck around it for the clean feet form the children but other than that they have it all in this house, just pack your clothes and food and enjoy your stay!

The location of this property could not be better with direct access to the beach. The house was the perfect size for our family retreat. When we arrived, everything was clean and in good shape and had all the accessories we needed for an incredible time. There were a few minor annoyances, almost like whoever owns this property has not used it as a customer. For example, there were only a couple hangars, the toilet seat in the master bath would not stay up, the nice looking piano in the living room was so out of tune it was unusable, the fireplace kept stuttering on and off, there were no hooks for your towel or clothes by the hot tub... Again, all little things, but enough of them to let us know someone’s not paying attention. All in all, great stay and I’d do it again.

Our group of 5 couples had a delightful stay at Beachwood Estate home. We loved the newly remodeled kitchen! New carpets and living room furniture also were much appreciated. The location is perfect and the short walk through dune grass to the beach is just right. We got to experience quite a wind storm but felt safe and cozy.

I was so pleasantly surprised on how well this home accommodated a multi-generation family gathering. I was able to have older family members sleep in one of the 3 comfy main floor bedrooms (no stairs!) and the upstairs with its loft, balcony and equipped children's play area was wonderful. The home is a 3 min walk to the ocean with no construction or buildings between you and the sea. Really a delight.

Over all we had a great time staying at this rental, it's a huge house, very clean. The fireplace wasent working right, and the hot tub was cloudy when we arrived, but the management sent a maintenance man right over to fix the hot tub. But other then those small things, this is a great houses to rent.

When 3 adults and 2 kids from Seattle, need to spend quality time with 5 adults and 2 kids from Portland, Long Beach is a great place to meet. The house was fantastic! The kitchen is well stocked, and the layout is conducive to a large group. The beds and sheets are comfortable. Having the ping pong table and BBQ in the garage was great for us to spread out, the TV upstairs meant good conversations were had in the living room, which was great. We only have good things to say, and my mom wants to know when we're going back.

This is a beautiful house, well stocked from kitchen to towels. The garage is set up so well for kids with a pong-pong table, sofa, TV to play games on, etc. Front and back porches are wonderful to set outside on to read or relax. The beds could use a little attention too, some are pretty wiggly when laying on them. Living room sofa has definitely been well used and could be replaced. Overall though, the house was very clean and very welcoming. There were 9 of us ladies and we all had plenty of room, made many great memories, laughed a lot, played games, drank wine, shopped... I would like to see a system in place for recycling. We threw away a lot of recyclable items. I rent another beach house in a different location with a recycling system. Directions are posted for guests to see how to use.

We really enjoyed this house. The family picked a good place to meet. Some from Washington and some from Oregon.
Good for kids and adults to come and play. Of coarse everyone likes to play in the sand and waves and this also was the right place to fly kites. One night we had a campfire at the beach. One member was not able to walk to the beach and this was the perfect place to drive him down.
The house was very well supplied with all the kitchen things you could want. Never rented a house with such a supplied kitchen.
We also enjoyed having the bedrooms on both ends of the house in place of having them all on one end. The middle worked good for kids to play. The hot tub was taken advantage of.
Also enjoyed having the side door to use when coming back from the beach. Good place to take shoes off and not track sand into the house.
WE would come back here again.

12 of our family gathered for the first time in 7 years. We welcomed new comer 6 month Genieve. What fun. Three generations of silliness. The beachwood estate allowed all of us to gather over a meal or go off on a beach walk with one special person to connect. The house and the setting were perfect and left us all with great memories.

This beach house is ocean front with a short walk to the beach. The property was in good condition, it was clean and perfect for our multi-generation family. There was a doll house and kitchen toys for the little ones and the bedrooms were laid out well for all. The kitchen was well stocked with silverware, dishes, pots & pans and utensils. A good time was had by all.

Really enjoyed our stay. Beach access was easy for my elderly parents. Beach was incomparable. Weather was perfect. House was spacious. Response from property management was prompt when we had a toilet issue. Recommend you bring your own: plastic wrap, alum foil, ziplocks, good knives for cooking, spices including salt and pepper. Bring what you need to cook meals. Kitchen is somewhat awkward for large groups in terms of layout.But great large formal dining table. The extra queen bedroom on the main floor near the kitchen is not very private as one wall(shared with formal dining area) does not go all the way to the ceiling. Probably was built as a "study" with one wall that only goes up about 7 feet and then is open to the ceiling (12+ feet). Not a deal breaker, but not as private or quiet for the couple that sleeps there. The big room on the main floor was really great for my elderly parents - hand rails in shower and toilet area, and nice double sink. Beds and pillows were really only adequate in terms of comfort. If you want a large space for a group with amazing access this is probably going to be hard to beat at Long Beach! Overall 4 stars.

We loved our stay at Beachwood! Everything was ready for us when we arrived and we loved how secluded and cozy this little spot was for a private family spring break reunion away from the hustle and bustle. The house had everything you could want for a family ages zero to 100 for both sunny and rainy days on the beach! We enjoyed clamming right off the beach and the kids/dogs enjoyed the sand dune play time. Parking was ample and a very nice Country Store and Thriftway just a few minutes away for firewood, smores and dinner supplies. The house had smores sticks ready and even a pair of adult boots for our growing sons's feet to go clamming. Very clean and beds were really comfy. This is our first choice when we come back!

We had a grand time. While the weather wasn't very cooperative, the facilities were wonderful. Lots of room and plenty to do. It was spacious and very welcoming. We hope to plan another weekend getaway here in the years to come!

Great place. It is a bit further back from beach than appears, but great house. About 20 minutes to town or grocery. Nice beach getaway and great for families!

We enjoyed staying in this home. With 7 guests we were well accommodated with sleeping arrangements. The property was well represented in the photos. For guests with no kids under age 15, the baby items seemed cluttery. The hot tub was not directly in the backyard but to the side of the home not as it is pictured on the website. We found sand in the tub upon arrival even though the property mgmt. firm was very specific about not having sand in the tub. We took photos and sent to the property mgmt. firm so they knew we did not contribute to the sand in the hot tub. The kitchen wasn't as clean as we would have liked. But the layout of the home worked great!

We appreciated your email giving us a heads up on the jets letting out a little sand into the hot tub. This does happen occasionally and is sometimes difficult to avoid being that it’s on the beach. What’s most important for us is that our guests are aware to rinse their feet prior to entering to help eliminate it. The hot tub was placed on the side of the home to provide privacy from the next door home. Thanks for the follow up conversation we had regarding your comments about the kitchen cupboards were not 100% all organized. We did have guests that checked out the same day so our staff didn't have enough time to go through every cupboards unfortunately. Our apologies for that. We loved the vacation house. It is literally steps from a beautiful beach. We slept 12 comfortably. There is plenty of space in the house for 12 to move about and not feel crowded. Only time we left the house was to go to the store and to go on a fishing trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at these two houses. The setting right on the beach is so peaceful. We had deer grazing in the beach grass in the mornings and wonderful sunsets each evening.
The houses are nice, well maintained, and had a nice assortment of beach toys to use while there.
The location is quite a ways up the peninsula, but that meant that it was completely quiet and peaceful. The location is near the small town of Ocean Park which has a grocery store, a couple cafes, and Eric Wiegardt's art studio (which I recommend seeing).

We had a very nice stay here in July. The house was perfect for our group of 8 adults, 2 kids, and a baby. It has good amenities for families with kids-washer/dryer, play area with toys and books, ping pong, kites and sand toys in garage. Good-sized bedrooms (though one has open ceiling) and a nice, big dining table for family dinners. Great play area in the loft. It was about a 15-min drive to downtown Long Beach but there is a grocery store and general store just 5 minutes away. The beach is a short walk away - great for a sunset walk. It's not safe to swim but we enjoyed flying kites and splashing around during low tide.

We were surprised that the property was closer to Ocean Park than to Long Beach but it was a pleasant surprise. Wish we had known about the Thriftway and it's location. Also, the kitchen was stocked better than any rental I have acquired in the last eight years. Another pleasant surprise.

We really enjoyed the stay at this location. Being with a group of couples, being away from the "town" was great. We didn't have any distractions the traffic on the beach from the house was very limited which was awesome. Over the course of our 4 day stay, we seen a sealion on the beach a couple of times as well as two bald eagles just standing on the beach one morning. The only thing I would suggest is potentially update some of the amenities/appliances; mainly the TVs. Beyond that, I would recommend this place and would look to stay there again if we were to go back to that location.

We rented the beach house for my 40th birthday and we had 4 other couples stay with us. The space was great at making us feel like we all had room to be by ourselves if we wanted it. The double dining room tables were perfect for allowing the group to split up in the evenings as well. If I had to give a negative - the ping pong balls were all flat. :) We loved the amenities and the easy beach access. We will return.

When you rent a house online, you might get a little bit of an idea of what the house and location will be like from pictures and such; but still question it. When our 3 families walked into the house, we immediately knew we found the right place. There was enough beds for everyone (12 ppl), a few minutes walk to the beach, kitchen was stocked, the house was very clean. The best thing was the washer and dryer. You might smile at this but when there is 12 of you going in and out of the hot tub or going to the beach - the W/D is handy. It was well worth the money, close enough to Ocean Park to run to the store. We would totally recommend this house.
